              270-524-3323, Hart Co. Solid Waste.  (Mandatory in Horse Cave)                  Horse Cave provides large item drop-off during the spring and fall, 1st Saturday of the month.  
Except for these dates, large items (too big to be placed in tote) must be taken the Solid Waste Drop Off Center in Munfordville.  
Horse Cave provides a recycling trailer for city residents located located at the Public Works Building at the end of New Street for cardboard and paper. 
 Yard Waste, Tree Limbs
 Bagged grass clippings and small limbs(less than 3" diameter placed at roadside) are picked up weekly    Call 270-524-5178 to be placed on pickup list
