Welcome to Horse Cave, Ky

Our Mayor: Randall Curry

The City of Horse Cave is represented by a mayor/council form of government.   The mayor serves a four-year term, and city council members serve two-year terms.

The city has twelve non-elected employees who serve under the mayor: a part-time city clerk, a finance officer, a licensing clerk/zoning administrator, five police officers, and four maintenance/cemetery employees.

All of us have one goal in mind-making Horse Cave a better place to live, work, and play.  We are very proud of our community, its rich heritage and a promising future. We work very hard to serve our citizens' needs, to provide for their safety, well-being, and to plan for our future growth.

If any one of us can be of assistance to you, please contact us.  If we don't know your problem, we cannot work to solve it.
